Lynn Fox
C. Lynn Fox, Ph.D. is a national expert in the areas of drug awareness & prevention, adolescent development, classroom management, self-esteem enhancement, and Special Education. She has trained over 200,000 K-12 teachers & others in the past 30 years, and has been a professor of Education at both San Francisco State and San Diego State Universities.
Dr. Fox has authored & co-authored 11 books, including a TEXTBOOK with Dr. Shirley Forbing for HarperCollins entitled: Creating Drug Free Schools and Communities: A Comprehensive Approach.
Along with Dr. Shirley Forbing, she has developed, researched and implemented three NATIONAL MODELS for the Federal Government:
- Project STOP: Standing Together to Offer Prevention
- Project CODE: Collaborating on Drug Education for Parents
- Project ACE: Activating Community Efforts to Fight Drug Abuse
Dr. Fox is active in the fight against the legalization of Marijuana in CA and throughout the USA. She is a member of CALMca and No on Prop 64 and numerous groups locally, nationally and internationally.
As a past Academy Award Winner (Associate Producer of Poems of Wonder and Magic), Lynn Fox recently has produced TV Specials on Marijuana and Adolescents, Marijuana and Driving and a 5 part series for Teachers entitled Teacher Expectations and Student Success. She even wrote, directed and produced a ½ hour TV Special on Wildfire Prevention. All are regularly aired.
